The 1996 Franklin Templeton Classic, also known as the Arizona Tennis Championships, was a men's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts in Scottsdale, Arizona in the United States and was part of the World Series of the 1996 ATP Tour. It was the ninth edition of the tournament and was held from March 4 through March 10, 1996. First-seeded Wayne Ferreira won the singles title.[3]
