The 2023–24 Colorado Buffaloes men's basketball team represented the University of Colorado Boulder in the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by head coach Tad Boyle in his fourteenth season at Colorado. The Buffaloes played their home games at CU Events Center in Boulder, Colorado in their last season as members of the Pac-12 Conference before they rejoined the Big 12 Conference in the 2024–25 season.[1]

Following their victory over Oregon State on March 9, 2024, the Buffaloes finished the regular season with 22 wins, the most regular season wins in program history.[2] They defeated Utah in the quarterfinals and Washington State in the semifinals of the Pac-12 Tournament before falling to Oregon in the Pac-12 championship game. Colorado returned to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2021 where they defeated Boise State in the first four and Florida in the first round before losing in the second round to Marquette.[3][4][5] The Buffaloes' defeat of Boise State and Florida gave Colorado their most victories in program history.[3]
Previous season
editThe Buffaloes finished the season 18–17, 8–12 in Pac-12 Play. They defeated Washington in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament before losing in the quarterfinals to UCLA.[6] They received an at-large bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they defeated Seton Hall in the First Round before losing to Utah Valley in the Second Round.[7]
