2025 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia–East Asia-Pacific Regional Final

The 2025 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia–East Asia-Pacific Regional Final will be a cricket tournament that forms part of the qualification process for the 2026 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. It will be held sometime in 2025.

The top three sides in the tournament will join Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, India, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the 2026 T20 World Cup who have already pre-qualified.[1][2]

Teams and qualification

India and Sri Lanka directly qualified for the T20 World Cup as co-hosts,[3] while Afghanistan, Australia and Bangladesh qualified as top eight teams from the previous edition. New Zealand and Pakistan qualified through ICC Men's T20I Team Rankings.[4]

In this cycle, a total of 14 teams are participating in the Asian sub-regional phase and 8 teams are participating in the EAP aub-regional phase, while the three leading associates, Nepal, Oman and Papua New Guinea, who took part in the 2024 T20 World Cup, enter the process at the regional final stage. The Asian sub-regional phase is divided into two events of seven teams with the top two teams of each sub-regional qualifier advancing to the combined regional final.[5] The EAP sub-regional phase is divided into to two events of four teams with the winners of each sub-regional qualifier advancing to the combined regional final.[6][7]
