Aakasam Lo Oka Tara (transl. A Star in the Sky) is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language film directed by Pavan Sadineni. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. It is produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam under the banners of Swapna Cinema, Geetha Arts, and Lightbox Media.[1] The film is slated for a release in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi.[2]

editThe film was officially announced on 28 July 2024, coinciding with Dulquer Salmaan's 41st birthday, by production house Swapna Cinema.[3] Pavan Sadineni, who previously directed films like Prema Ishq Kaadhal (2013), Savitri (2016), and the web series Dayaa, was signed on to direct the film. The film will be produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam.[4]
A first-look poster was released, featuring a serene village scene set against cloudy weather. Dulquer Salmaan is depicted wearing a traditional kurta and a red scarf. The film's title was revealed as Aakasam Lo Oka Tara.[5]
As of October 2024, the principal photography of the film is ongoing.[6]
