Abhishek Agarwal is an Indian film producer who primarily works in Telugu cinema. He began his journey in the film industry as a co-producer for Kirrak Party (2018) and Goodachari (2018). Later, he produced A1 Express (2021) and Raja Raja Chora (2021), marking his foray into solo productions. His films Karthikeya 2 and The Kashmir Files both won him National Film Award for Best Feature Film.[1]

Abhishek Agarwal attended school at All Saints High School and later graduated from St. Mary's College, Hyderabad.

Career

Abhishek ventured in to film production as a co-producer with Nikhil's Kirrak Party[2] and went ahead to produce Goodachari with Adivi Sesh with the success of both films he ventured further into films like Kajal Aggarwal's Sita, Sundeep Kishan's A1 Express and debut director Hasith Goli's Raja Raja Chora with Sree Vishnu.

in 2022, it was rumored that Abhishek Agarwal Arts would be producing a film with Sukumar and Prabhas,[3] but those rumors were quickly shut down.[4]

Abhishek Agarwal's first Hindi film was Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files. The film was made on a budget of ₹15–25 crore and was a box-office success grossing over ₹340 crores, thus becoming the second highest-grossing Hindi film of 2022.[5]

In January 2023, Abhishek Agarwal Arts officially launched the first look of G2 the sequel to Adivi Sesh starrer Goodachari.[6][7][8]

Philanthropy

In year 2020, Abhishek Agarwal founded Chandrakala Foundation, in memory of his late grandmother Smt. Chandrakala, and on third anniversary (named Sarthak Diwas) Chandrakala Foundation has adopted a village of Thimmapur, Telangana, undertaking the development of Thimmapur's infrastructure and providing amenities to the village.[9][10]
