Lissachatina glutinosa

Lissachatina glutinosa, common name the African land snail, is a species of air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Achatinidae, the giant African snails.[1]

Description

Shells of this species can reach a length of about 10–15 centimetres (3.9–5.9 in).[2]

Distribution

This species is found in Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Ethiopia and Zimbabwe.[2][3]
