Whale safaris are run from Andenes and from Krøttøya. Several other fjords branch off the Andfjorden including the Kvæfjorden, Godfjorden, and the Vågsfjorden.[2]
At the tiny Steinavær islands in the Andfjorden, there is a large coral reef.
