Bangladeshi cricket team in India in 2024–25
The Bangladesh cricket team toured India in September and October 2024 to play against the India cricket team.[1][2] The tour consisted of two Test and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches.[3][4] The Test series formed part of the 2023–2025 ICC World Test Championship.[5][6] In June 2024, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed the fixtures for the tour as a part of the 2024–25 home international season.[7]

On 13 August 2024, BCCI moved the venue of the first T20I from the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala to the Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Gwalior due to upgrades and renovation work in the dressing rooms.[8][9]

On 5 October, Shivam Dube was ruled out of the T20I series due to back injury.[14] Tilak Varma was named as his replacement.[15]

- Ravindra Jadeja (Ind) became the 39th person to take 300 Tests wickets, from fewer deliveries (11,817) than any player before him.[21][22]
- Virat Kohli (Ind) became the fastest to complete 27,000 runs in international cricket, in terms of innings (594).[23][24]
- India's match run rate of 7.36 was the highest in Test history, breaking the previous record of 6.80 set by South Africa in the first Test against Zimbabwe at Cape Town in 2005.[25]
