Brat and It's Completely Different but Also Still Brat is the upcoming first remix album by English musician Charli XCX. It is set to be released on 11 October 2024 by Atlantic Records. The album contains remixes of tracks from her sixth studio album, Brat (2024) and serves as a double album, also featuring the original and deluxe tracks.[2] Guests include Robyn, Yung Lean, BB Trickz, Troye Sivan, Addison Rae, Lorde, Shygirl, Billie Eilish, Bon Iver, Tinashe, Jon Hopkins, The 1975 as well as George Daniel, Easyfun, and A. G. Cook, who all contributed production to multiple songs on Brat.

The songs featured on the Brat and It's Completely Different but Also Still Brat track list have been in the works before the release of its subsequent album Brat, starting with the release of the "Von Dutch" remix with A. G. Cook and Addison Rae, on 22 March 2024.[3] There had been rumours circulating the internet since the release of Brat and It's the Same but There's Three More Songs So It's Not deluxe album,[4] along with the consistent flow of remixes produced.[5]

Release and promotion

Brat and It's Completely Different but Also Still Brat was announced[6] along with the release of Troye Sivan's remix of "Talk Talk" on 12 September 2024.[7][8] On the same day, Rolling Stone announced that the remix album is set to be released on 11 October 2024.[9][10] The remixes featuring Billie Eilish and Lorde would be a part of the album's track list.[11] The timing of the album's release also coincides with XCX and Sivan's Sweat concert tour.[12][13] The album cover was posted with the caption "Brat and it's completely different but also still brat - out oct 11" on several of Charli XCX's social media accounts. These postings also included a link to pre-order the album within various streaming sites.[14] The album is being sold as a double cassette, double CD, and triple LP.[15]

Billboards appeared around the USA and Europe teasing new collaborations, confirming Bon Iver, Tinashe, Bladee, The 1975 and Jon Hopkins for the album.[16]
