This name change was utterly stupid
editThis name change was utterly stupid and without real reason; it doesn't sound like normal English but like second-language speakers adaptations/inventions of idioms. The proper, normal ordinary usage for this context is simply "Populated places on rivers". No wonder I withdrew my time from the amount of it I was wasting on Wikipedia; so many bad and amateurish twiddling with names and formats but no real meaningful improvement of content. The CFD that resolved this was badly called and should not just be revised; teh admin who did it should have their linguistic ability reviewed.Skookum1 (talk) 00:33, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
- I think the name has a poetic ring, but still, you may be right, and English isn't my native language. __meco (talk) 19:45, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
