Why is [Category:Serbs] marked with notification: "This category is not in use because it has an ambiguous title"? How can the term "Serbs" be labeled as ambiguous"? It is a well known ethnonym with only one meaning: it designates an ethnic group - Serbs. There are no disambiguation pages for the article Serbs. Since page Serbs is so obviously not ambiguous, how can we label [Category:Serbs] as "ambiguous"? When and where was this issue discussed? Sorabino (talk) 23:34, 9 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
Here on English Wikipedia, as well as in English language, the term Serbs is not ambiguous, since it has only one principal meaning, that designates ethnic Serbs. Therefore, the present claim, that category title (Category:Serbs) is somehow "ambiguous", has no bases. In fact, it is the term Serbian that is recognized as ambiguous, here on English Wikipedia, and it is therefore properly used for disambiguation purposes.
