Their corporate work-study program involves sending a student once a week to work in a corporate field. The day the student is sent depends on their grade level:
- Freshman - Wednesday
- Sophomores - Thursday
- Juniors - Monday
- Seniors - Tuesdays
- Alternating Fridays
There are over 100 corporate partners that they work with including Google, Palo Alto Networks, Stryker, El Camino Health, BILL, Juniper Networks and more. The students, since the age of 14 are allowed to develop their professional skills in a corporate environment with experts in their fields. Students are also able to start building connections young and start their networking which they could use at a later date once they graduate college and are ready to start full time in a corporate work field.
College and Career readiness
CRSJ offers a class to seniors titled CCR which helps them with the college application process. This includes scholarships, Fafsa, applying to all kinds of colleges and universities. They follow their students throughout the entire process, making sure everything is going smoothly and doing everything they possibly can to help students get into their dream schools and find careers that are right for them. Not only do they help students start their college journey, they also help prepare them for the future by giving classes that focus on doing taxes, how to properly save money and how to maneuver college and forming once you get to college.
CRSJ's college and career readiness program also offers an alumni program which follows their alumni into their college life. Helping them with the Fafsa process every year or with which classes to choose or just how to adjust with the big change from high school to college. Alumni advisors also travel to go and visit their alumni once a year to check up on them and make sure everything is going smoothly and they are well adjusting. Every student at CRSJ will be assigned an alumni advisor starting from their second semester of their senior year up until they graduate from university and have established a steady career.
