A Celebration of an Ending is the first and only studio album by the American rock band Before Today. It was self-produced by the band and released by Equal Vision Records in September of 2004.

Originally performing under the name Early Times, the band signed to Equal Vision in January 2004.[2] They changed their name to Before Today prior to releasing the record.[note 1][3]

Aftermath

edit

Over the course of 2006–2007, the band saw the departure of guitarist Joe Tancil and bassist Mitch Ballatore.[4] Still signed to Equal Vision, remaining members and siblings Vic Fuentes and Mike Fuentes formed the band Pierce the Veil. Their debut album A Flair for the Dramatic, released in June 2007,[5] featured material previously written for Before Today.[citation needed]

  1. ^ The name change may have been due to legal reasons, as Early Times is a brand of Kentucky whiskey that has been around since 1860.
