Alex Alomar Akpobome is an American actor, known for his work on the TV shows Industry and Based on a True Story.
Early life and education
editAkpobame was raised in Glendale and Los Feliz, Los Angeles. His father is Nigerian.[1] Akpobame attended boarding school in Oregon, was homeschooled in high school and briefly attended Los Angeles City College.[2] In 2013, he enrolled in the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.[3]
Career
editAfter starring in a series of short films, Akpobame was cast in Lena Waithe's Twenties.[2] In 2022, he joined the second season of Industry and the first season of Based on a True Story.[4][5]
Personal life
editAkpobame is a recreational skateboarder.[6]
