editBiofile was founded in 2017 by Dorian Ferney Rallón Galvis, Biofile focuses on developing digital solutions for healthcare providers in managing electronic health records (EHR) and administrative tasks in Latin America.[5] Biofile became one of the BIC companies in Columbia in 2023.[6]
Its primary product is a software suite designed for medical practice management, which includes tools for electronic health records (EHR), patient scheduling, and billing processes. It also offers telemedicine and e-health services through its software. The software is cloud-based, enabling healthcare providers to access it from remote locations. Healthcare service providers are aided by these digital tools, which allow them to manage patient information and coordinate services.[7][8]
In 2023, Biofile received the Business Digital Transformation Award in the category of Innovative Solutions that Enable Digital Transformation in Companies by PwC and Cintel.[9][10] The company participated at the Empower Health Summit and Latam Healthtech Forum in the following year.[11]
