Cheyann Smith is an American philanthropist and activist. She serves an active-duty service member in the United States Air Force. Cheyann is the Founder and Executive Director of the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Beacon -Be the One to Light the Way, which provides necessities to individuals with housing and food insecurities. She is the creator of the Cheyann Smith Prom Grant at Camden Fairview High School in Camden, AR, an annual $1,000 grant covering all prom expenses for one underprivileged high-school senior girl. In 2023, she was named "Florida Mother of the Year". Later that same year, she was recognized as Hawaiian Airlines' Top Honoree for the state of Hawaii for providing aid to displaced individuals in the aftermath of the Maui wildfires and was featured on KHON2 News as the Malama Spotlight. In 2024, she was crowned Mrs. Hawai'i American. Her endeavors landed on the front cover of Midweek, Hawaii's largest newspaper, circulating 300,000 copies throughout the Hawaiian Islands. She is married to Michael S. Smith Jr. with whom she shares three children.
