Corey Joseph Collins (born October 10, 2001) is an American professional baseball catcher and outfielder in the New York Mets organization.

Amateur career
editCollins attended North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Georgia. As a junior, Collins hit .483 with 16 home runs, before committing to play college baseball at the University of Georgia.[1][2]
As a senior, Collins hit .354 with 20 home runs, in addition to leading the NCAA in on-base percentage.[3] He was named a second-team All-American at the end of the season.[4]
Professional career
editCollins was selected in the sixth round, with the 173rd overall pick, by the New York Mets in the 2024 Major League Baseball draft.[5][6]
