Doğaç Titiz (born 21 August 1981, Istanbul), Turkey drummer, musician and academician.
Playing the drumset since 2002, He is a graduate of the Istanbul State Conservatory.[1] In 2008, he became the first Turkish drummer to win Modern Drummer's Undiscovered Drummer Contest.[2] Titiz has played for Turkish rock bands 'Athena' and 'Duman'. With Athena, he represented Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, placing 4th with 195 points.[3]
Career
editTitiz has worked with ensembles such as the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra, Cemal Reşit Rey, Bursa State Symphony Orchestra, Istanbul University State Conservatory. He has alongside Turkish musicians Ajda Pekkan, Suat Suna, Fatih Erkoc, Ismail Soyberk, Erdal Kizilcay, Fatih Erkoc, Saskia Laroo, Tony Jones, Zeynep Dizdar, and Murat Boz.[4]
