Enex Technologies is an Italian multinational company active in the development of energy-efficient technologies in commercial and industrial refrigeration HVAC systems using natural refrigerants: ammonia (R717), CO₂ (R744), propane (R290), water (R718).
The company was founded in 2004 by Sergio Girotto, introducing the use of CO₂ as a natural refrigerant in the field of commercial refrigeration..[1][2]
Starting from 2024, the new CEO of the company is François Audo[3]
Enex Technologies was the only Italian company present at Harvard Climate Action Week in June 2024.[4][5]
The Global Headquarters are located in Vacil di Breda di Piave (TV). The other two companies and four Italian production sites are located in Piove di Sacco (PD), Ronchi dei Legionari (GO), Meldola (FC) and Massa Martana (PG).
Outside Italy, the factories are located in France, in Croseilles and Groslay, in Spain in Peralta, Monistrol de Montserrat and Torres De La Almeda, and in Slovakia, in Novè Mesto Nad Vàhom[6]
