  • Comment: Now appears to have lost the seat, although due to the narrowness of the margin the result will be going to a recount. It isn't common for recounts to actually flip the result, but it isn't entirely unprecedented, so we should hold onto this until the recount is finalized. However, note that if the recount upholds Begg's victory, this will not be able to be restored to articlespace as being an unelected candidate does not pass WP:NPOL, and will have to be deleted at that time. Honveer Singh Randhawa is a Canadian politician who is running for the riding of Surrey-Guildford as a member of the Conservative Party of British Columbia. The vote is currently waiting on the results of absentee ballots and will likely go to a Judicial Recount.[1]

Early life and career

Randhawa immigrated to Canada with his family at the age of 14.[2] Randhawa lives in Surrey, British Columbia. He is a lawyer.[3]
