Early life and career
editAs a youth player, Kang played for Kyung Hee University.[2]
Club career
editKang started his career with Gangwon FC.[3]
After that, he signed for Kelantan.[4] He impressed the manager and supporters with his performances while on trial.[5]

editKang has represented South Korea at youth level.[6]
