Kiran Verma (born 27 December 1984) is an Indian social activist and social worker. He is the founder of Simply Blood.[2][3] Currently, he is on his way for 21000KM Walk for Blood Donation Awareness.[4][5][6]

Early life and education
editKiran Verma was born in Maujpur, Delhi, India on 27 December 1984. He is born to Inderjeet Verma and Champa Verma.[7]
He is a dropout of Senior Secondary School.[8]
Personal life
editKiran Verma is married to Jayati in year 2015.[9]
Awards, honours and accolades
editIn May 2023, Verma was invited as a Jury in the Beautiful Indians 2023 organised by Femina and Mamaearth.[10][11]
On the World Blood Donor Day 2023, He was accolade by Indian Media for his efforts.[12][13] He has completed 13400 Kilometres walking.[14][15][16]
On 9 April 2023, he was invited in The Kapil Sharma Show with Suresh Raina, Deepak Chahar, Aakash Chopra, Priyanka Choudhary, Aakashi Mathur, Jaya Bharadwaj.[17]
Kiran Verma won 'LinkedIn Power Profile 2018' and was one of the most viewed influencer on LinkedIn in as per list released by LinkedIn in 2018 with Narendra Modi, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw etc.[18][19][20][21]
He was invited on Tedx talk at IIT Jodhpur[22]
He has been accoladed by Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.[23]
The Indian Red Cross Society had joined them in Vijayawada.[24]
Activism
editChange With One Meal
editVerma started a restaurant at the Maujpur, Delhi in October 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic where the food is being provided for Rupees 10 only to every needy.[25][23]
Walk for Blood
editKiran Verma had founded, Simply Blood for Blood Donation in 2016. He started a walk of 21,000 KM on 28 December 2021, with an aim of making people aware of blood donations.[26] He started from the city of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.[27][28][29]
Nagaland
editHe reached Nagaland on 23 November 2023, after visiting Bangladesh and Nepal. He met Temjen Imna Along, the State President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Nagaland, who supported Verma in his path to the Blood Donation awareness.[30][31]
2018 Walk
editHe had walked from Kashmir to Trivandrum for Blood Donation awareness in 2018.[32][33][34][35][36]
