Career
editShe won the 2021 Albanian Women's Chess Championship, aged 11, finishing half a point ahead of 14 times Albania champion Eglantina Shabanaj.[1]
She is an Arena International Master.[2] In February 2021 she was a winner of the Worldwide Junior Chess Festival, held on the Lichess platform.[3]
In July 2021 Kler Çaku won the online tournament “Rudaga-Kaissa 2021” in the Girls U12 category.[4]
In July 2022, the European Youth Blitz Champions were crowned in Thessaloniki and chess player Kler Çaku finished the event in third place with 12 points.[5]
From 29.07.2022 to 09.08.2022 she played first time for Albania Team at the 44th Chess Olympiad 2022 Women in Chennai on third table, scoring 5 points in 10 games played. She got a conditional Woman Candidate Chess Master (WCM).[6]
In September 2022, Kler Çaku played in Balkan Youth Chess Championship 2022 and won the gold medal for Girls U12 in Standard, Gold Medal in the Blitz Tournament for both boys and girls in Open U12 and silver medal in the Rapid Tournament for Girls U12.[7]
In November 2022, the European Youth Chess Champions 2022 were crowned in Antalya, Turkey and chess player Kler Çaku finished the event in the fifth place, scoring 6.5 points in 9 games played with no defeats.[8]
From 21 to 25 February 2023, Kler Çaku won the event 1 WORLD CHESS JUNIORS 2023 in girls section held in Düsseldorf, scoring 4.5 points in 5 games played.[9]
In September 2023, the European Youth RAPID & BLITZ Champions were crowned in TERME CATEZ, SLOVENIA and chess player Kler Çaku won RAPID tournament with 7 victories and 2 ties. In BLITZ tournament she shared first 1 place with Croatian player scoring same number of points. After bucholz system she placed in second place.[10]
In December 2023, she won the second Championship title in Albanian Women's Chess Championship, after 8 rounds with 6.5 points, 6 victories, 1 tie and 1 loss.[11]
From 11.09.2024 to 22.09.2024 she played second time for Albania Team at the 45th Chess Olympiad 2024 Women in Budapest on third table, scoring 6.5 points in 10 games played. She got Woman Fide Master (WFM).[12]
