This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). - Comment: Does not meet WP:GNG. Numerous sources are written by the subject, which I'm assuming are used to prove he is a journalist. Instead, it needs to have independent sources. Ktkvtsh (talk) 16:55, 24 August 2024 (UTC)

Kraig Krause is a Canadian broadcast journalist. Krause has been a reporter and anchor for CTV News and Global News, as well as local stations in Winnipeg, Kingston, Barrie and Vancouver.[1]
Career
editKrause began his career in 2014 when he joined his hometown hockey club the Chilliwack Chiefs as their play-by-play broadcaster.[2] He joined CTV News Winnipeg as a reporter in 2017 after managing a newsroom in northern British Columbia and anchoring their nightly newscast.[3]
He later returned to Ontario in 2018, where he accepted a reporter role with Global News in Kingston, Ontario. While in eastern Ontario, Krause began receiving national attention for his investigative and breaking news reporting. In 2019, he worked on an award-winning series on alleged sexual assaults in Ontario foster care.[4] Krause was also on the frontline of the Wet'suwet'en protests that shut down rail service in parts of the country in early 2020.[5]
During his time in Ontario, Krause provided extensive coverage of a manslaughter trial involving a 13-year-old girl who was accused of killing a man at a Brockville park.[6] He also was the first to interview a woman involved in a sexsomnia case that received global attention.[7]
Krause returned to CTV News in 2021 as an anchor/reporter in central Ontario. His work here included being on the ground during an EF2 tornado striking Barrie on July 15,[8] and his reporting of multiple officers being killed in the line of duty.[9]
In 2023, Krause left Ontario and returned to his home province of British Columbia and joined CTV News Vancouver where he currently works as CTV Morning Live's reporter and occasional host.[10]
