Mala Raj is an Indian obstetrician, gynaecologist, and laparoscopic surgeon based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.[1] With over 20 years of experience, she is known for her work in laparoscopic procedures, including hysterectomies, myomectomies, and infertility management.

editMala Raj's spouse C. Kasturi Raj is a businessman and her daughter, Aarathy Kasturi Raj is an Indian speed skating track athlete. She did her MBBS from Kilpauk Medical College in Chennai. She did her post-graduation in obstetrics and gynaecology at Ramachandra Medical College in 1997. She obtained a Diploma in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery from the University of Kiel, Germany, in 2004.[2] She completed a Diploma in Reproductive Medicine from the same university in 2014 and received training in advanced endoscopy in Strasborg and Taiwan
