Early life
editSommer Ray was born on September 15, 1996 in Colorado.[3]
She was homeschooled until high school but later dropped out at age 15 due to bullying.
Career
editBodybuilding and Fitness
editRay's first bodybuilding coach was her father and she started competing in bikini bodybuilding at the age of 16. In the 2015 NPC Colorado State Championship, she won first place in both the Teenage and Class D categories. She didn't compete for long and soon stopped competing in shows after turning 18. she cited the prevalence of performance-enhancing substances, such as steroids, in the fitness industry as the reason for her quitting.[4][5]
Internet career
editRay stated that her relationship with WorldStarHipHop's helped her grow her own internet personality.[5] She co-hosted a podcast with Amanda Cerny titled OHoney, which originally focused on dating advice and released 50 episodes in 2020.[6][7] The following year, Ray promoted Save the Kids token, a charitable cryptocurrency altcoin that later turned into a pump and dump.[8]
As of May 2024, Ray has accumulated 24.5 million followers on Instagram and 12 million on TikTok.[9]
Personal life
editIn January 2022, Ray purchased a home in the San Fernando Valley for $1.4 million USD.[10]
