Topistar Di Congo (born Biluge Birhakabulirwa Christophe; 5 May 2005) is a Congolese entrepreneur, creative director, fashion designer, and model based in Uganda.[1] He is the founder of TDC Creatives, a community supporting youth-focused on their talent across media, music, arts, and community development.[2]
Early life
[edit]Topistar Di Congo was born in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of the Congo.[1] Following conflict in eastern DRC, he relocated to Uganda's Kyaka II Refugee Settlement.[3][4] After serving as a youth leader in the settlement, he moved to Kampala to hustle TDC Creatives, a platform supporting young regional talent.[3][2]

- TDC TECH: A digital platform focused on technology and skill development.[3]
- TDC MANENKIN AGENCY: A modeling agency focused on fashion and talent representation.[2][3]
- TDC GANGS: An independent music record label and creative collective.[6][3]
- TDC CHARITY & ORPHANAGE: A humanitarian initiative supporting vulnerable children and orphans.[7][4]
Career
[edit]Topistar Di Congo spent part of his youth in the Kyaka II Refugee Settlement, where he served as a youth leader. The experience of displacement and community leadership heavily influenced the direction of his later work and creative ventures.
From a young age, he was drawn to dreadlocks. After growing his first set, he adopted them as a central element of his personal branding, viewing them as a symbol of identity, personal freedom, and artistic expression.[8]
Family Background
[edit]Topistar Di Congo was born Christophe Biluge Birhakabulirwa into a Congolese family originating from Bukavu, South Kivu, DRC.[9]
His father Juslain Birhakabulirwa Barhongo worked as a professor and businessman, establishing educational programs for displaced youth, while his mother Furah Badesire Kagayo Jusian worked as an entrepreneur and traditional medical practitioner.[9]
He is the ninth of ten children:[9]
