The Concise Encyclopedia of Science & Technology, originally Phaidon Concise Encyclopedia of Science & Technology,[3] is an encyclopedia, science book, reference work, non-fiction, and academic journal. The encyclopedia focuses on topics such as, formal science-related topics, such as logic, mathematics, physics, as well as natural science and hysical science, such as biology, zoology, microbiology, chemistry, geology, evolution, and also social science, such as anthropology and political science. Philosophy and history are covered in the encyclopedia as well, with entries on numerous inventors, politicians, and philosophers.
The encyclopedia was revised and expanded in its 1985 version; it has been reviewed and referenced, and it was also reposited by global organizations such as the UN Food and Agriculture Organization,[4] and US Library of Congress.[5]
