VNU University of Medicine and Pharmacy (VNU-UMP; Vietnamese: Trường Đại học Y Dược, Đại học Quốc gia Hà Nội), or VNU University of Medicine and Pharmacy is a university specializing in medicine and pharmacy in Vietnam, a member of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

History
editOn May 20, 2010, Prof. PhD. Mai Trong Nhuan (Former Director of VNU-HN) signed Decision to establish the School of Medicine and Pharmacy - Vietnam National University - Hanoi.[2]
In 2012, VNU organized admission to training two majors: General Medicine and Pharmacy.[3]
On October 27, 2020, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy was established by the Prime Minister on the basis of inheriting the School of Medicine and Pharmacy, approved by the Director of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi.[1][4]
On December 23, 2022, University of Medicine and Pharmacy - Vietnam National University, Hanoi held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology.[5]
On May 24, 2023, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Vietnam National University - Hanoi held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish the Faculty of Pharmacy.[6]
On November 20, 2023, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Vietnam National University - Hanoi held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish the Faculty of Medicine.
