editTo whom it may concern,
I am an independent member of wikipedia trying to understand the guidelines better, in order to contribute to the community.
Feel free to correct me if you think something's wrong with my articles to help me publish them while respecting all guidelines I might not be familiar with yet.
If there's any good reason for deleting the above page which I created while trying to respect all the guidelines while providing relevant information, I would kindly ask you
to let me know how to properly correct and respect them:
My article was just moved onto the draft section and I was accused of a COI.
I am not Brice Bexter or a paid service!
I first uploaded a picture which I found on the actor's IMDB page, which was taken down due to rights violations.
After reading more on how to properly upload a WikiMedia I understood the importance of a pictures rights.
When I noticed on the Hassan El Glaoui's page, the actors grandfather, that Brian Bexter had contributed to some corrections on the article.
I reached out to the user in order for him to upload a free of right picture (in this case) taken by him in order to respect the community's guideline and avoid picture rights violations.
This was an attempt to contribute with as many information as possible, references, pictures etc.. to provide the most accurate and complete profile!
Now that my article has been drafted, could someone help me understand what I need to do, as I had the intention to further expand my contribution to Wikipedia by creating other
related pages such as the director's page (Hicham Hajji) and his new movie's page (Redemption Day) which are non existent on Wikipedia yet.
I really want to create those pages for this soon to-be released movie in both our country and worldwide.
The topic (movie) has been covered by moroccan and international news lately which I have been following from close, out of personal interest.
I was waiting on the community's feedbacks and approval prior further contributing.
I was accused of creating this account 2 weeks ago for a one time contribution which is not true as I created this account last year.
I was also going to reach out to other people online to help me upload free of rights pictures for their InfoBox.
I believe this is what has been interpreted as the major COI here.
I would appreciate if another contributor could provide me with the required steps in order to upload a free of rights picture without it being interpreted as a COI or taken down,
as I have worked hard on my articles and would like to avoid for it to happen again.
Should I delete the page and recreate a new one? Will this draft stay in my sandbox? and how do you determine a free of rights pictures for any of my future contributions? Will my account be suspended?
Help contribute!
Many thanks for your time and comprehension.
