I took a second look at the notability guidelines for orgs and companies (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(organizations_and_companies), and I think Crescent Communities meets them. I should have done a better job drawing out some of what's in the references I included - here's how I see it:

1. SIGNIFICANT COVERAGE: Crescent Communities has received significant coverage from reliable, independent sources (nationally recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the top fastest growing private companies in America in 2015, recognized by Business North Carolina as one of North Carolina’s top private companies, in 2015, etc.).

2. RELIABLE EVIDENCE: There is verifiable, objective evidence that Crescent Communities has received significant attention from independent sources (14 independent sources are listed in the article including the Wall Street Journal, Charlotte Business Journal and Inc. Magazine).

As requested, I improved the references and added in some additional sources. I also reached out to the original editor: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Vincent60030

CRESCENT COMMUNITIES ACQUIRED APRIL 2018

edit

Crescent Communities, begun as part of a government-assisted company, Duke Power, has not only launched a huge development campaign in and around Charlotte NC but was also sold to SUMITOMO FORESTRY AMERICA in April 2018 which has taken over its multi-use and residential development programs including a planned community that is larger than any present communities within the Charlotte city region. This Sumitomo-owned company presently retains its executive officers and its name--Crescent--though ownership is entirely different. LisaRudisill (talk) 13:27, 3 August 2018 (UTC) Lisa RudisillReply
