Hello
editHello, we represent the JS13k games community in trying to get this article created. This contest has been on going for 10 years and this year had 223 entries. Despite that, it has been somewhat of a challenge to find sources. We have combed through everything we possibly could to cite legit independent sources. As this year's judging is currently underway, more references will hopefully pop up after the results are announced.
We have also added this to the JavaScript wiki project because the games are written primarily in JavaScript and as a requirement of the competition all games are open source on GitHub. JS13k is also mentioned by many books and other resources as a good way to learn and practice JavaScript.
