Racing Team Nederland is competing in a FIA World Championship, which is the highest level in motorsports, a motorsports team cannot get much more notable than that. Bobi.1 (talk) 11:23, 3 September 2019 (UTC)

@Bobi.1: Thanks for the followup. I declined because there was not enough evidence indicating the subject met WP:NCORP. I beleive your point is that it would meet WP:NMOTORSPORT #1. This is true if we allow that a motorsport figure can be an organization. I have asked for a read on that. ~Kvng (talk) 15:19, 3 September 2019 (UTC)

Kvng, the first two replies say to fall back to the General notability guideline. I could find the team mentioned in 355 pages on dailysportscar.com, 190 pages on sportscar365.com, 156 pages on autosport.com, and 1280 news pages on motorsport.com (all hits on motorsport.com are 17,500, which sounds too much, it probably counts every image captioned with the team name). They are currently in a FIA World Championship so these numbers should increase throughout the season. A similar argument can be put for Cetilar Racing, Cool Racing, and High Class Racing when someone takes the effort to write articles about them. Bobi.1 (talk) 09:55, 6 September 2019 (UTC)

@Bobi.1: OK so WP:NORG it is. We don't base our general notability assessment on web search hit counts. What we're looking for is WP:42. Can you list WP:THREE reliable sources that cover this subject in depth? I could not satisfy that from the sources you've cited so far. ~Kvng (talk) 13:11, 10 September 2019 (UTC)

Kvng, 4 articles from source 1, 3 similar articles from source 2, and 2 articles from source 3. In addition, there are similar articles from motorsport.com and it features in each of the Le Mans team by team guide feature articles on Autosport for the last 3 years. @Bobi.1: WP:NORG is a high bar to clear. Coverage multiple times in the same source doesn't really improve your case. https://www.lemans.org/ is not an WP:INDEPENDENT source. I'm not sure the other two are WP:RELIABLE. If you find better coverage or you want a second opinion about this, feel free to resubmit and another reviewer will look at it again in due course. ~Kvng (talk) 22:27, 26 September 2019 (UTC)

Kvng, could you elaborate on why Daily Sportscar, Sportscar 365, Motorsport.com, and Autosport are unreliable, and why the official website of 24 Hours of Le Mans is not independent from a private race team? Bobi.1 (talk) 16:33, 27 September 2019 (UTC)

@Bobi.1: I think you'll find helpful information at WP:RS. The articles on Daily Sportscar do not have bylines. Sportscar 365 may be reliable, may not. I don't remember looking at Motorsport.com. Kvng Regarding Daily Sportscar, the articles are tagged with their author as a byline. For example, the first one linked has 'Tagged with: Graham Goodwin'. He is one of the most respected endurance racing journalists and is recognised by ACO and FIA by being on their commentators team for FIA WEC, ELMS, and AsLMS.
