Degrees in Infobox need appropriate ordering and FRCS addition:

| alma_mater =
Gujarat University (MD),
B. J. Medical College (MS),
Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS)[1],
University of Oxford (MSc),
Middlesex University (PhD),
Colorado Technical University (MBA)

   Unable to implement

  • The claim of a degree from RCSE is not referenced in the main prose of the article, meaning its listing in the infobox would need a citation.
  • Some editors accept the subject's own sources as evidence of degrees, while others prefer the citation to originate with the college itself.[a] Please provide the latter.
  • When ready to proceed with the requested information, kindly change the {{request edit}} template's answer parameter to read from |ans=yes to |ans=no. Thank you!

Notes

  1. ^ There is no fixed rule for this requirement, which rests on an editor's preference and personal judgement. The guideline I use is WP:BLPSELFPUB, which states "There are living persons who publish material about themselves, such as through press releases or personal websites. Such material may be used as a source only if: (#3) it does not involve claims about third parties." As the claim of receiving a degree from a college involves a third party, my interpretation of this guideline is that its verification should come from the third party — in other words, the college — rather than the subject himself.

Thank you Spintendo, I have added the reference where I retrieved the information.Tuuzi (talk) 12:38, 20 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

No change to the infobox. The claim of receiving the FRCS professional qualification (to practice as a senior surgeon in Ireland or the United Kingdom) was not added, as the claim is not referenced by one of the colleges which is authorized to bestow that qualification. There is only an unlinkable member search where a user must input Rahul Jindal to retrieve the result, but he is listed on their member page. Is this update I've made acceptable?Tuuzi (talk) 03:32, 23 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello, could the following be added to the introduction section if possible?

Jindal is co-chair of SEVAK project which trains high school students in preventative measures and diagnosis of diabetes and hypertension in rural areas of India and Guyana where there are no medical facilities.[1] Jindal is also the Director of Health Affairs of United States India Political Action Committee which advocates closer U.S. India – ties.[2]Tuuzi (talk) 20:18, 25 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

   Clarification requested

  • Please provide the WikiLinks for these projects / committees.

Regards,  Spintendo  18:32, 26 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much, I think these links are updated properly.Tuuzi (talk) 02:28, 27 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
WikiLinks for both claims have not been added to the proposal. You've placed an external link under the name SEVAK. External links are not allowed in the main prose of an article. Regards,  Spintendo  05:11, 27 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Ok spintendo, I thought that's what you meant. I can make a sevak page as well, then link it. I hope that's appropriate and will update this when it's up.Tuuzi (talk) 14:07, 30 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • Please note that the particular field of Global health should ideally be delineated further from the 5 major field divisions within that topic.

Carnegie Award Winner Update

edit

For the awards and honoree section I see he has won another award. If you could add that would be great. Thank you!

In 2019, Jindal was named a Great Immigrant, Great American by the Carnegie Corporation of New York. [1]

Thank you spintendo, I think this is the appropriate reference. Edit:I see what you mean, but there is no wiki link for that award so I negated it. I'm not sure if I should make a wiki page for it. Tuuzi (talk) 13:47, 4 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

The COI editor is free to submit a draft of an article on the award to WP:AFC.

   Clarification requested

  1. Please provide the WP:WIKILINK for this award.[a]
  2. When ready to proceed with the requested information, kindly change the {{request edit}} template's answer parameter to read from |ans=yes to |ans=no. Thank you!

Notes

  1. ^ In this case the WikiLink for the award would be different from the WikiLink to the organization which gives out the award, that link having already been included in the requested prose.
Here's a ref that isn't primary: https://www.americanbazaaronline.com/2019/07/04/indian-american-transplant-surgeon-rahul-jindal-among-carnegies-2019-great-immigrant-honorees-438125/
Note that the honor for this year went to 38 people from all walks of life. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 20:20, 4 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thank you AngusWOOF, I edited it to reflect that information. When time, I will make the wiki page for the award.Tuuzi (talk) 21:27, 4 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

I have created the page today at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Immigrants and changed the citation above to reflect this.Tuuzi (talk) 14:00, 5 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately, because your client won this particular award, your conflict of interest extends to the new article you've created about that award. The reason why it extends to that article is because your motivation in creating the award page was so that it could be included here on the Rindal page. That is why I earlier suggested that you submit any drafts you had about the award to AFC for consideration. By creating the article yourself, you've bypassed having a neutral editor take a look at it. For that reason, the award cannot be added to the Rindal article at this time. Regards,  Spintendo  17:27, 5 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

There is no way to change it? I didn't mean to bypass anything, last time it automatically went to draft for review I thought. 🤔 Tuuzi (talk) 13:54, 6 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
