John Patrick McNeil (March 23, 1948 – September 27, 2024) was an American jazz trumpeter. He performed with artists including Billy Hart, Rufus Reid, Horace Silver, Gerry Mulligan,[1] and The Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Orchestra.[2] McNeil was born on March 23, 1948,[3] and died on September 27, 2024, at the age of 76.[4]
