Emir Üyar (born in 1983) is a Turkish businessman and the Honorary General Consul of Dominica to Turkey. He serves as the Deputy Chairman of Permak Group, a diversified private-sector conglomerate in Turkey.[1][2]

Üyar's personal life has attracted media attention, particularly for his relationship with Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima in 2019.[3][4][5]

Early Life & Education

Üyar was born to businessman Selim Üyar and Sevim Üyar. He completed his secondary education at Deutsche Schule Istanbul and earned a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2006.[6]

Business activity

In 2015, Üyar made a significant investment by acquiring the island of San Clemente in Italy, spanning 68,000 square meters, along with the five-star luxury hotel, the San Clemente Palace Resort.[7] This acquisition was one of the largest investments between Italy and Turkey at the time.[2]

Üyar also holds the position of Honorary General Consul of Dominica to Turkey.
