Fernando Álvez

Fernando Harry Álvez Mosquera (born September 4, 1959 in Montevideo) is a Uruguayan former footballer who played as a goalkeeper for the Uruguay national team and several clubs in Uruguay, Paraguay, Colombia, Brazil and Argentina.[1]

Álvez obtained 40 caps for the Uruguay national team. Having made his debut on July 18, 1980 in a friendly against Peru (0-0), Álvez was a member of the 1986 and 1990 FIFA World Cup teams.
