Field hockey at the Summer Youth Olympics

Field hockey was introduced at the Youth Olympic Games at the inaugural edition in 2010 for both boys and girls. At the 2010 Games, field hockey was held in the outdoor format. From the 2014 games, the hockey5s format has been used.
