English: Photograph of 'Peedie Pict', a Pictish carved figure on an ox phalanx bone found in Bu Sands, Burray, Orkney. The figure appears to be a warrior wearing a thigh-length tunic and is believed to be a piece from a board game. The bone is 53mm in height and 30mm wide, the carved figure is 22mm high. See 'An anthropomorphic carving from Pictish Orkney' by David Lawrence in Proceedings of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, 135, 309-318. The item is on display at the Orkney Museum in Kirkwall, Orkney.
