English: গুনাহারের ঐতিহ্যবাহী সাহেব বাড়ি। বর্তমানে বাড়িটি পরিত্যাক্ত হিসেবে কালের সাক্ষী হয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে রয়েছে। সংস্কারহীনতার অভাবে বাড়িটির বিভিন্ন অংশ ধংসপ্রায় হয়ে পড়েছে। তবে বাড়িটির নান্দনিক কাঠামোগত সৌন্দর্য এবং লোকগাথা সবার মুখেমুখে ছড়িয়ে পরার কারনে এখন এটি স্থানীয় টুরিস্টদের কাছে বেশ জনপ্রিয় হয়ে উঠেছে। গুনাহার ইউনিয়নের প্রত্যন্ত এলাকাতে অবস্থিত এই বাড়িটি বগুড়া জেলার দুপচাঁচিয়া উপজেলাবাসীর কাছে 'সাহেব বাড়ি' হিসেবে সুপরিচিত একটি নাম। এলাকার মানুষের দাবী এই ভগ্নপ্রায় বাড়িটিকে টুরিস্ট প্লেস হিসেবে অনুমোদন দেয়ার মাধ্যমে এর সংস্কারে যথাযথ ব্যবস্থা নিতে কর্তৃপক্ষ এগিয়ে আসবে।
উল্লেখ্য এই বাড়িটির মালিক অবিভক্ত বাংলার এক্সাইজ কমিশনার মরহুম খান বাহাদুর মোতাহার হোসেন খান ১৯৪১ইং সালে নির্মাণ করেন। |
