Description100119 Paine's Almshouses West Street Oundle 4-10-20.jpg
English: Grade II* early 17th century almshouses comprising two wings one with a datestone of 1753. The former almshouses now comprise Paine's Cottages on the east wing and the Manse of Oundle Congregational Church in the west wing; both are linked with an Elizabethan gateway. The wings were of a 15th century house, the bays being a later addition. The house now missing the central hall was owned by Sir Walter Mildmay of Apethorpe Hall, Chancellor to Elizabeth I.
