English: Cab side from LNER and British Railways EM1 (Class 76) Bo-Bo locomotive; 76051 (E26051) (Mentor) and cab door from 76001 preserved in original condition at Barrow Hill Roundhouse (shown here after having been very carefully washed).
This cab side is the third largest relic from a Class 76 (after complete loco 26020 preserved at the NRM and a full cab from 76039 Hector which is preserved in the Manchester MOSI).
The cab side still has the original paintwork and decals from service and upon closer inspection you can see where the E2 prefix has been painted out and replaced with 76 following TOPS renumbering.
The teardrop shaped glazing is actually polycarbonate rather than glass.
