English: Looking from the southwest corner of Boston Road and East 180th Street at the pedestrian park entrance to Bronx Park, specifically the River Park on the northeast corner of Boston Road and East 180th Street in the West Farms section of The Bronx, New York City. Taken during an attempt to capture the site of the former 180th Street–Bronx Park elevated railway station on the Bronx Park Spur of the IRT White Plains Road Line. The entrance is one block south of what is now a pedestrian exclusive (but two-lane car wide) entrance to The Bronx Zoo at Bronx Park South. NOTE: While this segment of Boston Road is historically part of the original Boston Post Road, it is not part of U.S. Route 1.
