English: 1905 Franklin
model F. Franklin cars were the most successful air cooled cars before the Volkswagen beetle. The factory produced 1500 vehicles in 1905 divided between three four-cylinder models. The chain driven Franklin had a top speed of about 30 mph. Instead of having a door in the rear this model is accessed by tilting the front left seat to the side.
