Summary

Description
English: The Dutch East Indies Volksraadgebouw Arrangement follows more closely to the Westminister Model. Seen from actually having a head speaker and cross-bench facing each other. with each representative seated and facing the other also. Rather than a truly arch-style parliament. Merely this is because the Volksraad is not a typical legislative Parliament, but rather closer to an Advisory Council to the gouverneur-generaal. Being a colonial parliament, it holds very little power as actual Legislative power over the Dutch East Indies is through the hold in the States General, in Den Haag. It too has a Westminster-style election apportionment, which the Dutch east Indies Governtment's Volksraadgebouw is modeled after (albeit without the same powers). Above is the 1917 Dutch East Indies Volksraad election reflects this Model.
