1938 Dodge D8 ambulance. Operated by the Kyogle District of the NSW Ambulance Transport Service Board. The timber framed steel ambulance body was fitted by Hope Motor Body Builders in Brisbane. This car was retired in 1964 after 28 years in service and donated to the Board for it's historical significance. The car was repainted by TAFE apprentices in the 1980's. Now part of the Ambulance Service of NSW historical collection. Scanned from a photo taken at the then Sydney Motor Museum in Darling Harbour.
