English: 1959 Chrysler Windsor four-door sedan (body style no 513, the most common with 19,910 built). 383ci B-series V8 engine with 305hp - this was the first year for the B-series. The Windsor sits on the shorter wheelbase used on Dodges (122 vs 126 inches) rather than on the "proper" Chrysler chassis. Optional was the "outlined roof" treatment painted the same color as the side sweep insert. The tri-colour theme is carried through right through the wheels and tires, amazing! This model year's marketing theme was "Golden Lion", hence the badge on the front doors. |
