Summary

Description

Alpine White. The AP5 Valiant was built in Australia from May 1963 to March 1965. Replacing the Australian assembled S Series, the Australian built AP5 had a more conservative and conventional look, it was the first fully Australian designed and manufactured Valiant, only the doors, guards and windscreen were shared with the US equivalent. The AP5’s transformation into a dinky-di Aussie included the fitment of a unique extruded aluminium grille and a larger boot than the US model, along with a different rear deck and flat rear window. Starting with just the 4 door standard sedan, in November 1963, the Safari station wagon was introduced, also the upmarket Regal in Sedan or Wagon. The Regal got more brightwork, better seats and interior trim, auto transmission, a heater with integrated demister, two tone steering wheel, carpets and even white-wall tyres. Engine; 145hp 225 cu in slant 6 cyl

This car is a true survivor, 95,000 miles, original paint, engine and interior, same family nearly all it's life.
