Description The 304 Cubic Inch Displacement (5 L) V8 engine in a 1973 Hornet 2-door hatchback by American Motors Corporation (AMC). This car is finished in "Trans Am Red" (paint code D-7). Car and Driver magazine described this new addition to the Hornet line as "the styling coup of 1973" and AMC used this quote in their advertising. The base MSRP of this hatchback model was $2449.
