Summary

Description
English: 1976 AMC Hornet, a compact car built by American Motors Corporation. This two-door sedan is finished in Sunshine Yellow (paint code 6V) and has the optional "Bravado grain" vinyl covered roof in tan. The factory available 304 cu in (5.0 L) V8 engine in Hornets for the 1976 model year has been replaced by AMC's 360 cu in (5.9 L) version. Note: the "X Package" in 1976 was available only on the hatchback and wagon body styles and included: slot-style wheels with trim rings, D70x14 tires, "rally" stripes, "X" ornament on glove box and rear panel, black accents on grille, and extra quiet package. Photograph taken during the American Motors Owners Association (AMO) annual convention that was held July 2015 near Cleveland, Ohio.
